This service acts like a one-stop-shop for all kinds of information related to public transportation systems. One can check timings for buses, trains, etc. (For example: If one finds out just before leaving for work that their bus or train is late, the service will immediately prompt the user to hire a taxi instead.) The service will keep a constant track of the user and the city to detect traffic, roadblocks, etc. and offer alternatives accordingly. The service will also let its users input live traffic and transport related information into it.
The service is designed to be used before and during a journey. People can use it to pre-book tickets, check the estimate travel time, and the timings of their vehicle before the journey. During the journey, people can track traffic, get a live update on the time estimates, engage in the social section of the service and track their personal progress.
This gamification service is set up to promote the use of public transport as opposed to private vehicles. This will be targeted both towards current users of public transportation system as well as private vehicle owners (giving them incentive to use public transport more). The service will be working together with the government and private databases to pull data accordingly.
